Primary Group, Inc. teamed with
TRA Airport Planners to design and produce the construction documents
for this 12,000 sf.regional airport. Project components included
a new terminal facility to accommodate carriers, general administration,
information desks, dining facilities and support services. Additionally,
a new hangar facility has been designed to protect the aircraft.
The unique aspect of this project lies in its siting on National
Park Service Land. This siting added to the normal regulatory approvals
of MAC, FAA, the Town of Provincetown, and the Cape Cod Commission.
Primary Group, Inc. managed the complexities of meeting the stringent
National Park Service design review issues of integration into the
landscape selection of Cape Cod vernacular materials and integration
into the natural landscape.
