| The Stop & Shop Supermarket
Company commissioned Primary Group to design a Super Stop &
Shop in the urban setting of Grove Hall on Boston's Roxbury/Dorchester
line.
Located within the Grove Hall development, the 51,700 sf. Supermarket differs from the Company's prototypical supermarket design due to the site's unique setting. The design of the facility integrates urban contextual elements with corporate distinction and accesses new urban clients. After leaving the community 17 years earlier, Stop & Shop has boosted the City's revitalization efforts by bringing back the modern-day convenience of a community supermarket to the Roxbury-Dorchester neighborhood. |
