Winthrop Estates is the first 40-unit phase of
a 350-unit development in Roxbury, Ma. This projects a national
prototype with the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative developers
as the only-governmental entity in America with the Eminent Domain
capacity to access large areas of vacant land for development. The
townhouses are side-by-side with duplex units with private front
and rear yards, parking, and garden-level expansion. A green space
serves as an anchor for this five-block urban development. Primary
Group also acted as the development consultant and managed: finance,
marketing, and home ownership issues for this $6 million development.
