George Robert White Environmental Conservation Center Boston, Ma |
| The George Robert White Fund commissioned Primary
Group, in association with Steven Winters and Associates, to design
this building that "teaches" - a green building that provides
educational space for natural education.
Located in Mattapan MA, the 10,300 sf. Center consists of an administration wing, an exhibit hall and an education wing. The center incorporates the principles of sustainable design through its energy saving systems which includes passive solar heating, solar heated domestic hot water a geothermal heat pump for climate control, photovoltaic energy slates, natural ventilation and maximizing natural day-lighting. |
