Dimock Gatehouse Daycare Center is a successful example of a non-profit center with impressive interior amenities at a cost of approximately $90 per sf. The project included the renovation of a 3,800 sf. area located on the ground-floor level of the existing Gatehouse building (also designed by Primary Group).

The Center accommodates 55 preschoolers in three classrooms and a central play area. The central play area contains a built-in playhouse and is designed for dramatic play activities, gatherings, group play, storytelling and other performances. Classrooms are intentionally located adjacent to the central play area to allow teachers to efficiently monitor multiple activities simultaneously.
