| Student demand for expanded research
and study space had exceeded the capacity of St. John’s existing
3,000 sf. library. After exploring a number of alternatives, including
several renovation and addition options, it was determined that
a new library was the most cost-effective option.
The new 15,000 sf. library will provide additional space for reading and studying, larger reference and periodical rooms, specialized classrooms and study group spaces, a media center and an extra area to consolidate computer classrooms. The new library will be sited on a prominent, centralized area of the campus that allows easy access to an existing classroom building, as well as, create a central pick-up and drop-off area for students. |
